ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
At the elementary level, I teach basic executive functioning through interactive games and small projects. We focus on the ability to follow multiple instructions, self-monitor progress & impulse. We also focus on directional language, ability to identify behaviors that match environment and instruction, as well becoming aware of timing. Skills are modeled and students are guided through processes so that they can begin creating simple plans with appropriate steps & expectations for follow through. Overall, we are looking to boost confidence, self- awareness and perseverance through activities tailored to meet strengths/ interests and improve areas of weakness.
